THE KENNEDY PTA INVITES ALL KENNEDY FAMILIES, STAFF, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO ATTEND OUR FIRST 2023-2024 GENERAL PTA MEETING.
Tues., Sept. 26 at 6:00PM-7:30PM in the Kennedy Cafeteria or online via Zoom. Meeting Link will be shared on a flyer in your child's folder and via our Facebook group. You can also get the link by emailing us at jfksomervillepta@gmail.com

Who's Invited:
All community members are encouraged to attend. You do not need to be a PTA member to attend, but you do need to be a member to make or second a motion or vote. Note that 2022-2023 members technically can vote at this meeting without renewing their membership, but are encouraged to update their membership to be members for the 2023-2024 school year.
What it's About:
An agenda will be published ahead of the meeting here on our website and in the Facebook Event page in our Facebook group. Topics will include a vote to approve the Board's 2023-2024 Budget, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and the formation of committees, Book Fair and Boosterthon, and more. This is an excellent way to get a deeper understanding of the PTA's purpose, vision, and how you can help!
Directions / Meeting Access:
This will be a hybrid meeting. If you are coming in person to the Kennedy Cafeteria, entry will be through the the Sartwell Ave. doors, through the back parking lot near the electric car charging stations. We will post a sign board near the correct doors.
To sign into the meeting via zoom, look for the link on the flyer in your child's backpack later this week, check the Facebook group, or email us at jfksomervillepta@gmail.com. If you are a member or have opted in to receive PTA emails, we will also be sending a meeting reminder and link via email. You can sign up for those emails at any time by clicking on the "Subscribe to our Email List" button on this page!
There will not be a waiting room for the Zoom, so you should be able to join right away. Please try to change your screen name to accurately reflect your name for the purpose of counting votes.
