Preliminary Schedule
Week of December 9 - 13, 2024
Mon-Fri - All classes will shop at the fair for a 30 minute period during the school day. Check back here for the in-school class shopping schedule.

Tues, Weds, Thurs Evenings 5:00-6:00PM - Fair Open for Students & their Families
Tues morning, after Winter Concert, ~9:45-10:15AM - Fair Open to Parents/Guardians (and younger siblings) ONLY, no students
Weds morning, after Winter Concert, ~10:30-11:00 - Fair Open to Parents/Guardians (and younger siblings) ONLY, no students

Fair Payments
We can accept the following payment types at our fair:
cash, credit cards, most tap-to-pay options like Applepay or Googlepay, Scholastic eWallet, checks made out to Kennedy School PTA

Cash payments provide a great learning experience for students.​​​​​​
eWallet registration
eWallet is Scholastic's optional electronic payment system.

If you opt to use eWallet and have more than one student, you will need to create a separate eWallet for each student in your family.
PTA suggests between $10-$20 per student. Most books cost between $8 - $14, with some pricier items and some bargain items available. (Scholastic suggests more...)
This year, by using an eWallet, you are authorizing Kennedy PTA to convert any unused funds to a donation towards book purchases for the benefit of Kennedy School at the time of the Fair's closing (Friday afternoon, Dec. 13th.) Scholastic does not provide refunds for unused funds, but if you prefer them to be rolled over for your personal use on scholastic.com, email us at jfksomervillepta@gmail.com to opt out of the donation.
