Staff Appreciation Week
Just added!!!
On Tuesday, May 5th, starting at 7:45 AM until line-up time, sidewalk chalk will be available to decorate the sidewalks around school with thank you notes, artwork, and love for our staff!
Please do not make any chalk marks *on* the building, and please remember to leave plenty of space for our students arriving by van/bus to safely enter the building.
On Wednesday, May 6th, students wear your teacher's favorite color!

Important opportunity to Stand in Solidarity with our SPS Educators and support robust funding for our Public Schools:
Attend the SPS Budget Hearing on Wednesday, May 6 6:00PM at East Somerville Community School Auditorium, 50 Cross St
Show solidarity with our educators and consider making public comment in favor of full, robust funding for our Public Schools, with NO CUTS TO STUDENT-FACING POSITIONS. Our School Committee will need to act boldly to send a fully funded schools budget to the Mayor and City Council. Our presence and support is vital to sending the message that public education is central to Somerville’s values and we need *more than* level service funding to invest in necessary improvements to our students’ education.
