8th grade is a special year with lots of extra fun, and you are needed to help guide, plan, and make those extras happen!
No time, but can afford to give financially?
ALL volunteers must fill out a CORI form each school year, and submit it along with your I.D. to the Kennedy front office before volunteering.
First time submitting a CORI form to the Somerville Public Schools?
Print a form here (or pick up a blank form from the front office), fill it out, and bring it and your state, federal, or international identification to Ms. Kya Wakefield in the Kennedy front office. She'll take a photocopy of your ID and submit the form on your behalf.
Someone should be in the office 7:30AM - 3:00PM Monday-Friday to receive your form. You will not be contacted once the form has cleared. The school will be notified, and PTA will be notified once the school has your cleared status.
Did you have a CORI form cleared by Somerville Public Schools last school year?
If yes, you can email a clear, up-close photo or scanned copy of your ID and a clear, up-close photo or scanned copy of your filled out form to Kennedy School's Volunteer Coordinator Becky Payne, who can submit the form for processing.
Email Becky at rpayne@k12.somerville.ma.us and include what event or task you are volunteering for and the date in the body of your email.
